Young Pakistani researchers are interested in spreading information about Armenia's aggression and provocations against Azerbaijan, and the realities of Azerbaijan.

These views were expressed at the ceremony of the presentation of certificates of the Online Internship Program on “Contemporary Dynamics of Azerbaijan”, dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the restoration of independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan which was held in Pakistan.

Major General Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery (Retd), the President of CGSS, and Khalid Taimur Akram Executive Director of CGSS, representatives of the public and media of Pakistan, lecturers, participants of the Internship Program, and the Embassy staff attended the event. 

Speaking at the event about the internship program, Ambassador Ali Alizada state that, the program allowed participants to obtain information about Azerbaijan directly from experienced scientists, diplomats, military, and civilian experts. The Ambassador noted that one of the advantages of the program is that researchers have published a number of articles about Azerbaijan, and information about our country has been delivered to the wide audience in Pakistan.

The Ambassador told that the internship program has covered Azerbaijan's history, culture, education and science, foreign policy, economy, defense and military potential, relations, commonalities and ties with Pakistan, the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and Armenia's occupation policy. Ali Alizada stressed that this program has played a special role on the young Pakistani researchers in collecting extensive information about the realities of Azerbaijan and the formation of positive opinions. He also stated that internship program, which was launched after Armenia's provocations against Azerbaijan in July of this year, allowed to Pakistani youth to get direct information about them. The Ambassador brought into attention that since young researchers are already familiar with the subject, they can easily analyze the latest provocative attacks of Armenia on Azerbaijan in violation of the norms and principles of international law. Stating that the researchers have made presentations on atrocities of Armenia, rocket attacks on densely populated Azerbaijani settlements and the occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia, Ali Alizada stressed that researchers showed their interest in disseminating of these information by writing articles and thanked to them, as well as the lecturers and participants.

Addressing at the event, Major General Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery (Retd), President of CGSS shared his views on the internship program and thanked the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan for its cooperation and support. Touching upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery condemned the Armenian military aggression and provocations against Azerbaijan and expressed that they have always stood by the People and Government of Azerbaijan. Stressing that Azerbaijan has already liberated some parts of its territories from Armenian occupation, the President of the CGSS wished the liberation of all occupied Azerbaijani territories as soon as possible.

Speaking at the event, the lecturers and researchers also expressed their good impressions on the internship program and their views on the broad information obtained about Azerbaijan, and conveyed deep gratitude to the Embassy and CGSS. Mentioning about Armenia's military attacks and provocations against Azerbaijan, they condemned the Armenian aggression and expressed support for Azerbaijan.

At the end of the event, lecturers and participants of the internship program were presented certificates.
